Who We Are

Brownlie Bagpiping is a professional bagpiping service based in Lanarkshire, offering high-quality support for weddings, funerals, corporate functions, and events. We also provide structured piping tuition for pupils at all stages, ensuring each pupil receives clear guidance rooted in strong fundamentals. In addition to performance and teaching, we offer bagpipe healthcare and servicing, helping players maintain their instruments so both the bagpipe and the bagpiper can perform at their best.

As a service-driven bagpiping business, we combine years of experience in performance, instruction, and instrument care to deliver a dependable standard across everything we do. Our work is guided by the values of tradition, precision, and passion, principles that shape how we support clients, learners, and fellow pipers. Whether preparing instruments, guiding students, or enhancing events, we take pride in offering a calm, organised, and personable approach that reflects who we are: a dedicated, knowledgeable bagpiping service committed to upholding Scottish musical heritage and providing top-quality service.

Our Principals

Tradition

We honour the heritage of Scottish piping by upholding the standards, techniques, and values that have shaped the skill for generations. Everything we do is rooted in respect for the music, the culture, and the responsibility that comes with carrying these traditions forward.

Precision

Quality matters. From tuning and technique to presentation and timing, we take a meticulous approach to every service we provide. Whether performing, teaching, or servicing bagpipes, precision ensures consistency and consistency builds trust.

Passion

A genuine love for all things bagpiping drives our work. This passion fuels our commitment to continuous improvement, attentive service, and the desire to deliver the best possible experience for clients, learners, and fellow pipers. It’s the energy behind every performance, lesson, and instrument we reinforce.
